Our retreat is easy to reach, summer and winter.  The roads to our place are paved and maintained. 

The guesthouse is close, but fully detached from the main house. We try to give our guests as much privacy as possible, and still be available if there are any questions.  The "cabin" sleeps 7 (2 queen beds and 3 twins).

We are lucky to have riverfront property and have easy access to the Shuswap River. Our private beach has a nice swimming hole, available to all our guests.    

In winter we run a special during weekends, making the hot tub on the beach available for our guests once a day. Inquire for extra costs.

House rules

1. This property is non smoking.

2.  We appreciate for you to keep quiet between 10 PM and 6 AM

3.  Please don't wear shoes in the house, you can leave them on the mat

4.  Toilets are for human waste and toilet paper only. We are on a septic system. Please be gentle on it and only use biodegradable products

5.  When using the woodstove, make sure one window is slightly open, preferably downstairs (you will not notice carbon monoxide!!!) Keep woodstove door closed once it is burning.

6.  If you are not actually in a space, keep the lights switched off. Also switch off all outside lights before you go to bed.

7.  No hot glasses, mugs, pots or pans on the dining table without using coaster and/or placemats or tablecloths

8.  Please use the trail at the back side of the main house to go down to the river

9.  When you leave, dishes should be clean

10.  Please, follow parking instructions

11.  Pets are not allowed on furniture and beds and please pick up after them (doggie bags are provided). Dog poo goes in the garbage

12.  Don't feed our animals unless discussed with one of us
